Jada Yuan is the national culture writer for The Washington Post, covering film, TV, the Oscars race, and the intersection of culture and politics. She was also the first 52 Places Traveler for the New York Times. She’s previously covered the two most recent First Ladies of the United States and the 2020 and 2022 national elections, and was a longtime culture writer for New York Magazine. In 2023, she published her first book, “Unleashing Oppenheimer: Inside Christopher Nolan’s Atomic-Age Thriller.” This year, a documentary she co-produced, “The A List: 15 Stories from Asian and Pacific Diasporas” will be showing at film festivals, before coming to HBO in 2026.
