The Makeup and Hairstyling category will be one of several where the nominees are chosen from a shortlist of contenders, voted on by the Makeup Artists and Hairstylists branch, and announced in December. After the shortlist announcement, eligible films can participate in “Bake-Off” in-person events to explain their work further to voters.
