Director Luca Gudagnino directs a script from former SNL writer Simon Rich, starring Andrew Garfield as OpenAI founder Sam Altman. Yura Borisov, Monica Barbaro, Cooper Hoffman, Jason Schwartzman and Mark Rylance round out the cast, with Ike Barinholtz as none other than Elon Musk. Amazon MGM originally produced the project and planned to distribute until suddenly dropping the film midway through 2026. Neon picked up the rights and set it for a prime Christmas Day release.
